Like, can you meaningfully haul around good enough protection to resist any weapon you can't intercept with active defences? In that case, you'd expect combat vessels to tend to increasingly larger oblate spheroids, similarly to the evolution of battleships. It is an interesting thought what the nature of realistic space combat would be. ![]()
